Blackpool School of Art

Blackpool and the Fylde School of Arts gave us a brief for their prospectus. Please avoid seaside imagery, it’s a cliché. They said politely. And whilst we’d never ignore what clients say, with respect, we do sometimes challenge that brief.

Blackpool is what Blackpool is after all, a thronging promenade and busy beaches. We made this a virtue.

The seaside theme was also used on the graduate open day poster.

The prospectus even came wrapped in cellophane.
