Flower Bowl
Barton Grange

Is a £6 million mixed use, curling and bowling leisure building near Preston in Lancashire. The 4500m² building will have a rolling meadow grass roof designed for sheep. With its location near the west Pennine moors, the concept is to reduce the buildings impact on the local environment as much as possible. It is a sustainable, eco-friendly building that is in keeping with the rural nature of the area.

The facilities include a curling centre of excellence – the planned curling rink will only be the second in England – a cinema, tenpin bowling, crazy golf, a diner-style restaurant, fish and chip restaurant and an ice cream bar and coffee shop and a shop where people can buy and hire kayaks to use on the nearby Lancaster canal.

Work on site is due to complete in late 2018.
