Kaori Yamamoto

Kaori studied at Kingston University in London. She gained professional experience at Panter Hudspith Architects and Conran & Partners in London. She briefly returned to Japan in 2008-2009 to design and build a private house in Tokyo. Kaori joined The Chase in 2014.

Kaori’s experience consists of residential, retail to educational projects in both the UK and abroad. Whilst at Conran, she successfully worked with Philip on a number of projects ranging from a private retreat in Karuizawa Japan, a mixed-use scheme in Kuala Lumpur, new restaurants in Greenwich to housing projects in London. At Panter Hudspith, Kaori worked on housing & mixed-use projects at various stages from planning applications for sensitive sites to construction of complex buildings including award winning Royal Road Housing.

Having worked on many projects ranging from one-off houses to big housing schemes, Kaori designs with buildability in mind while paying attention to detail. She is committed to creating high quality architecture that responds to its environment in a sensitive and sensible manner.
