Steve graduated in
1995, from the University
of Central Lancashire,
taking with him a D&AD Student Award for Most Outstanding Direct Mail. He joined The Chase in
the same year.
During the earlier years Steve's dominant interests were corporate identity projects which evolved to incorporate annual reports, brand and campaign development, exhibition design and, recently,
corporate websites.

Although Steve worked
for ten years, at the Manchester office,
across different industry segments his main focus became centred on
the financial sector.
He was instrumental
in implementing
The Co-operative Bank's ethical campaign, everything: new product development, branch
and staff involvement campaigns, planning creative direct mail launches and literature.

In 2004 The Chase were invited to relaunch Marks and Spencer Financial Services products:
Steve was integral to
the project. Now he's the Creative Director of the Preston office which primarily is responsible
for that client's ongoing campaign development.

Along the way Steve's work has collected
D&AD Silver nominations, Gold Donside awards
and an Insider magazine annual report award.
He's been a finalist in
the New York Festival awards and included in
the European Regional Design Annual over three consecutive years.
